What We Value

  • Real food, always. Whole ingredients, real techniques, and practical, no-waste everyday cooking.

  • Skills over cuisines. We teach culture-informed (not culture-limited) cooking—universal techniques that give you confidence to cook anything.

  • Hands-on confidence. You build real skills by tasting, touching, smelling, and trying—not just watching.

  • Small classes, big impact. 45-minute, approachable classes that meet you right where you are.

  • Food that’s beautiful and delicious. We care about flavor, intention, and presentation.

  • Curiosity over perfection. Mistakes are welcome. Questions are encouraged.

  • No gatekeeping. Ever. Culinary knowledge should be accessible to everyone.

  • Food as care and wellness. Cooking builds confidence, independence, and healthy habits—for parents and teens alike.

  • Community first. Cooking together creates joy, connection, and shared growth.

  • Sustainability matters. We support local restaurants, industry pros, and purveyors.

Meet Chef Pam YeoCo - French trained professional chef, mum of two boys and the heart behind FromScratch.

With nearly two decades of experience in global cuisine, nutrition, catering, and culinary education, Pam’s journey has carried her from fast-paced city kitchens in NYC and Seattle to the rhythms of suburban family life—through formal training, feeding communities, and the hardest role of all: motherhood.

Like many of us, she learned to cook by feel. Through observing, helping, and absorbing alongside loved ones. She saw the gaps appear when she was pressed for time and energy. As her career evolved, she began to see a growing disconnect: convenience replacing confidence, families confused by labels and mixed messages, and young adults entering the world without the skills to care for themselves through food.

Pam saw what was missing, and decided to build what she wished had existed.

Her proprietary curriculum is shaped by years of research and hands-on experience across many cultures and mumhood. Rather than teaching one cuisine, she blends the most efficient techniques from around the world into clear, practical lessons that make cooking feel intuitive and empowering.

She teaches with both intuition and science, always with the belief that if you don’t know something, you’ll learn it together. With a background in publishing and lifestyle styling, she also helps students create meals that are not only nourishing—but beautiful, intentional, and full of joy.

Her mission is simple:
To build communities rooted in culinary creativity, confidence, and connection.
